This is the first time our workshop has done a project so far from Moscow. Considering the remoteness, we can say that our project will be on the other side of the earth.
The architecture cannot be local. At the moment when a client comes to you, you must immediately clarify that the surroundings of the house and the landscape are an integral part of the architecture. And, moreover, inside the building, it must be taken into account that all views from the window emphasize the individuality of the architecture.
Our workshop has come across an interesting guarantee. Usually we try to make large houses visually smaller so that a person feels more comfortable being surrounded by his housing. But in this project, the task was the opposite – we had to make the house large-scale and majestic. In fact, the house is a little over 400m2. We used the so-called 4th dimension (according to Walter Gropius) – the void.
